Christmas Renewal – RPLA Finalist

Well, I wasn’t expecting this. Christmas Renewal, the short story I just shared with you during Christmas in July, has progressed in the short story category of the Florida Writers Association (FWA) Royal Palm Literary Awards (RPLAs) to the finalist level. I do not know how many finalists are in the short story category because judges score on an extensive rubric. All who exceed a set score on the rubric become finalists. The FWA will present an award to the top three finalists at the FWA convention in mid-October.
