This is just a quick post to share some exciting news. Christmas Renewal, the short story I just shared with you during Christmas in July, has been selected as a semi-finalist in the short story category of the Florida Writers Association (FWA) Royal Palm Literary Awards (RPLAs). The RPLAs accepted 500 submissions in a variety of categories this year. Judging is continuing based on an extensive rubric, and finalists will be announced sometime before the FWA convention in mid-October.
